Guidelines
A writing-enriched course embraces the following four principles.
- Writing is a philosophy, not a technique.
- Writing is a significant method students use for understanding and communicating course content.
- Instructors are committed to providing meaningful and timely feedback to students about their writing.
- Students are informed in a syllabus at the beginning of a course that it is writing enriched and that their writing is a significant part of their grade.
